Minnesota State Fairgoers get chance to show #MnMined pride Aug. 31st

The Iron Mining Association of Minnesota (IMA) is returning to the Great Minnesota Get-Together with its #MnMined message.

The trade association, which represents the iron mines and more than 150 companies who sell goods and services to the mines, will be at Dan Patch Park Friday August 31st for MPR Day.

“We are excited to talk about our dedicated, responsible, innovative 130 year old iron mining industry and the way it makes everyday modern life possible for Rangers, Minnesotans, and Americans,” IMA President Kelsey Johnson said.

This is the third year the association has brought the #MnMined message to MPR Day at the State Fair. Fairgoers will answer questions about Minnesota iron mining to win water bottles, t-shirts, tote-bags, Frisbees, and more.

“The State Fair gives us a chance to share the message about this importnat Minnesota industry with a national impact, and it will give Minnesotans the chance to take something home to share their #MnMined pride,” Johnson said.
