Welder – Virginia, MN (Union Position)
Komatsu is currently recruiting for a Welder at our Virginia, MN facility. This union-represented position is responsible for performing a variety of welding, fabrication, and repair tasks while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform welding and cutting applications, including SMAW, FCAW, and air arcing
Interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings
Complete fitting, layout, and complex equipment repairs with precision
Assess repair needs and develop effective repair methods
Troubleshoot and maintain welding equipment and tooling
Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure quality standards
Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE, including respirators when needed
Work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Qualifications:

Proficiency with carbon arc gouging and oxy/fuel torch
Experience with SMAW and FCAW welding processes
Strong print reading and layout/fitting skills
Certified rigging experience preferred
Ability to perform high-quality work with accuracy and attention to detail
