POSITION DESCRIPTION –
Join APT in a unique technical leadership role that brings together quality control, regulatory affairs, environmental
compliance, and new product commercialization. You’ll lead and strengthen programs that help ensure APT’s
products meet quality and regulatory requirements while supporting continued growth and innovation.
This position also provides direct leadership to the Lab Manager and works closely with R&D, Production, Sales,
regulatory agencies, consultants, and outside laboratories.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Lead and continuously improve APT’s quality-control program and provide direction to the Lab Manager.
• Own product registrations and regulatory compliance for products sold throughout the U.S. and Canada.
• Manage environmental permitting and compliance for APT’s Minnesota manufacturing operations.
• Review product labels, claims, formulations, and supporting documentation for regulatory compliance.
• Partner with R&D, Sales, Production, and other teams to establish quality and regulatory requirements for
new and modified products.
• Help ensure new products are ready for commercialization from a quality and regulatory perspective.
WE’RE LOOKING FOR
A technical leader who is analytical, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership. An associate
degree in a scientific, technical, environmental, agricultural, microbiological, chemistry, related field or an equivalent
combination of education and relevant technical experience is required.
Experience in quality control, manufacturing, environmental compliance, regulatory affairs, laboratory operations,
agricultural product registrations, microbiology, qPCR, product labeling, or process improvement is preferred.
