IMA statement on Mark Phillips’ renewal as IRRRB commissioner

The Iron Mining Association of Minnesota (IMA) extends its congratulations to Iron Range Resources and Rehabilitation Board (IRRRB) Commissioner Mark Phillips as today it was announced he will continue on in his role under Governor Tim Walz.

The IRRRB was founded in 1941 and invests tax revenue generated by Minnesota’s iron mines in business, community, and workforce development.

“We look forward to continuing our work together to advance our region and economy,” said IMA President Kelsey Johnson.
