Job Posting: Manufacturing Sales Representative
NAYLOR PIPE COMPANY
For the first three to six months you will be training with the sales team. You will be learning about our product, how it’s made, where it’s made and what our product is used for.
Once trained, our daily routine consists of:
• Answering sales calls
• Quoting customer requirements
• Coordinating deliveries
• Scheduling production
• Proofreading orders
• Checking calculations
• Preparing Material Test Reports
• Weekly follow ups on customer quotes
• Visiting customers
• Providing customer feedback
• Tracking orders from initial call through delivery and providing updates to customer throughout
• Keeping track of production schedule and making changes in shop necessary for customer requirements
Once the initial sales training has been completed, we will introduce you to other daily functions in our engineering, accounting, production, shipping, and purchasing departments.
Please keep in mind, this is not a structured position where the same tasks are performed day in and day out. Every day is truly different and that is what makes this position so unique.
